Easter & Storm Dave - Easy Norwegian Podcast Episode 1

In this first episode of my podcast, I talk about Storm Dave — a powerful storm that swept in from Britain and Scotland, moving northward through southern Norway during Easter weekend. I share my personal experience flying home to Stord just as the storm was hitting, narrowly avoiding cancellations that affected flights to Bergen and Haugesund. I also go through some of the news coverage: a overturned motorhome, a coach bus that slid off the road in Innlandet, trampolines flying around neighbourhoods, thousands of households losing power west of Kristiansand, and the Kristiansand Zoo keeping its animals safely indoors — including the predators.

Learn Norwegian Easily and Naturally with Stardew Valley - Episode #4

In this episode of a Norwegian-language Stardew Valley series, I search for Robin the carpenter, eventually finding her shop on the map. While waiting for it to open, I explore the town, meeting several villagers including Demetrius, Maru, Alex, Harvey, and Sam, and visit the Joja Mart area. I pick up a quest from Lewis to deliver a topaz. Back at the farm, I clear land, water crops, and plant new seeds. I also pause occasionally to give brief Norwegian language tips, such as correcting the phrase "I feel pumped" as unnatural Norwegian.

ROBIN?! Easy, Simple Comprehensible Input in Norwegian | Stardew Valley #3

In this Stardew Valley let's play, we kick off Day 3 on the farm by clearing trees to make room for crops, then head to town. After picking up a quest from Robin requesting 25 pieces of wood, we hilariously misread it as 200 and frantically chop trees until realizing the mistake — blaming a Saturday morning coffee shortage. The rest of the episode turns into a comedy of errors as we wander around town trying to find Robin to complete the delivery, only to discover her shop is closed on Wednesdays. The day wraps up with a sunny weather forecast promising a more productive tomorrow.

🪄 Learn Norwegian Through a Mysterious Story | The Magical Glove 🪄

In this video, I walk you through an interactive branching story built as a web app — complete with choices, translations, and a PDF export. We follow Mia, a 10-year-old girl living in the village of Treviken, who discovers a mysterious glowing glove in the forest. The glove turns out to be magical, and together we make choices that shape her adventure: picking up the glove, putting it on, healing an injured fox, and following it deep into the woods — where a hidden door in a tree leads to a wizard's library. A great story for Norwegian learners of all ages.

You can Learn Norwegian Easily: Boox Palma 2 Review

I bought the Onyx Boox Palma 2 about three weeks ago, and in this video I share my honest thoughts on it. It looks just like a phone but uses an e-ink display — and that's exactly why I got it. I was spending nearly 2 hours a day on my phone and struggling to sleep because of the bright screen. The Palma replaced my phone at bedtime, letting me read Japanese and use Anki flashcards without the harsh light. My phone screen time dropped from ~2 hours down to 42 minutes a day. I also cover the battery life, video playback, and whether I'd recommend it — especially if you're trying to read more and scroll less.

Learn Norwegian Easily: Let's Play Stardew Valley #2

to the beach where he gifts us a bamboo fishing rod. After a quick trip home to craft a chest and clear out our inventory, we spend the afternoon fishing at the beach — pulling up sardines, anchovies, and the occasional piece of seaweed. Along the way we meet several Pelican Town residents including Elliott, Gus, Emily, Shane, and the grumpy George. We wrap up the day by checking the town calendar, doing a bit more clearing on the farm, and heading to bed. A laid-back day of fishing, exploring, and getting to know the neighbours!
